Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) also provides its membership to Schools (Aided & Unaided) based upon the following eligibility criteria :-

1. School Board should either be a registered society or it should run under a Registered Society/ Trust and shall be imparting education according to the National Curriculum Framework, 2015.
2. The syllabus taught in the Schools must be approved by State Govt./ District Education Officer/ Directorate of Education.
